Year 2 Fire of London Workshop

On Wednesday 21 January 2026, Y2 were fully immersed in the Fire Of London experience provided by @HistoricWorkshops. From learning about The Great Fire of London - based on Samuel Pepys' own diary account! - to exploring a range of replica artefacts from the time, pupils have learnt how and why they were used.
Pupils enjoyed an interactive wander through medieval London and were full of excitement and enthusiasm as they explored the sights and sounds of the time.
We can’t wait to see how pupils use their amazing ideas for their creative writing, bringing the Fire Of London to life at Oasis Academy Skinner Street in their own words!
