On Tuesday 20 January 2026, Y1 transformed was transformed into a world of Princes, Princesses, Knights and Dragons!
Classrooms were bursting with imagination as the children stepped straight into the story of George and the Dragon. From brave knights and royal characters to fearsome (and very friendly!) dragons, everyone embraced the adventure with enthusiasm.
We’ve been exploring the George and the Dragon book in class, and this dress‑up experience brought the tale to life in the most wonderful way. The children enjoyed storytelling, role‑play, and creative activities inspired by George’s courageous journey.
Well done to all our Y1 heroes and mythical creatures, you made the day truly magical.
