Y1 Kings and Queens Experience

Year 1 enjoyed a lively Tudor day, beginning with a visit from King Henry VIII. Pupils explored monarch portraits, created clay coins, learned Tudor dances, and tried their hand at archery—bringing Tudor history to life through fun, hands‑on activities.

On Monday 26 January, Y4 enjoyed a hands‑on Roman workshop, meeting a Centurion, practising battle formations, uncovering real artefacts, playing traditional Roman board games, and writing in Latin on authentic papyrus. The activities brought Roman history to life for all pupils.

Y6 WW2 Enrichment experience

On 30 January 2026, Year 6 experienced life during The Blitz, learning about Air Raid Wardens and taking part in hands‑on activities such as using a WW2 stirrup pump, handling model incendiary bombs, and practising period first aid, including using real British Army stretchers.

Y3 Stone-Age experience

Year 3 took part in an engaging Stone Age enrichment day, exploring tools and animal bones, creating cave art, crafting Stone Age-style tools, and finishing with a fun archery activity. It was a memorable, hands‑on experience that brought history to life.

Year 2 Fire of London Workshop

Year 2 enjoyed an exciting immersive workshop that brought the Great Fire of London to life through hands‑on artefacts, interactive exploration, and inspiring ideas for creative writing.

Year 1 Enrichment Day

Year 1 enjoyed a magical dress‑up day that brought George and the Dragon to life through imaginative costumes, storytelling, and adventurous role‑play.
